Paid Search has a small “Ad” icon next to your website link on the 2nd line of your ad text. Most people don’t take notice this! Both offer unique advantages and disadvantages and different opportunities in a given market.

2 key differences are:

Paid Search Ads will shoot your business to the top of Google VERY FAST. This is helpful in a competitive market.

Free Search Offers longevity in positioning.

Let’s say you want to sell designer furniture to individuals all over the US.  Since this is a billion dollar industry with lots of competition and searches, you will want to pay for ads on Google. It would take a lot of time to be found organically online in this particular market.
